Join us for an intimate evening of story, memory, and reflection with DRUUMM elders Qiyamah Rahman, Mel Hoover, Leslie Takahashi, and Danielle DiBona, moderated by Manish Mishra-Marzetti.

This is not a history lecture, but a living-history conversation—stories from people who have helped shape DRUUMM and the experience of BIPOC people within Unitarian Universalism across generations. Our storytellers will reflect on the people, struggles, relationships, gatherings, spiritual grounding, joy, and organizing that formed their journeys and our community.

Together, we’ll explore what has changed, what we have learned, what has sustained us, and what work remains for those who are carrying DRUUMM forward. The conversation is also part of DRUUMM’s broader effort to preserve the words, visions, experiences, and dreams of our community for generations to come.
