DRUUMM Village @ GA Listening Session
Tuesday, December 3rd
8:00pm Eastern / 5:00pm Pacific
Virtual – All DRUUMM Members Welcome

As we prepare for General Assembly 2026—a primarily virtual gathering taking place June 14–21—we invite you into conversation, imagination, and co-creation. DRUUMM Village has long been our spiritual home at GA: a place where BIPOC Unitarian Universalists gather to root ourselves, witness one another, and move together through the rhythms of worship, community, and justice-making.

This year, as we approach nearly 30 years of DRUUMM’s ministry, we stand in a moment of renewed vision and commitment. GA 2026 offers us a unique opportunity to shape what BIPOC-centered programming, presence, and leadership can look like within our wider faith—especially in a virtual format where connection requires intention and heart.

We want to hear from you.
At this listening session, we will explore:

  • How DRUUMM Village can best serve and gather our BIPOC community during GA

  • What worship, caucus spaces, and pastoral presence might look like in virtual form

  • How members can support, volunteer, or help shape our programming

  • What you hope DRUUMM will bring into this crucial moment for our UUA and our shared future

The session will be moderated by Rev. Angeline Jackson, DRUUMM’s GA Coordinator, and will run for one hour.

DRUUMM Village has never been a place on a map—
it is a place we build from memory, from struggle, from joy.
A place made of arrival and homecoming,
where each story is a lantern and each voice widens the path.
As GA approaches, we gather again to imagine the Village we need,
and the Village that will carry us—
steady, luminous, and alive—
into our next 30 years.

About Us

DRUUMM is Unitarian Universalism’s oldest and largest People of Color collective. We are a front door for new people and a spiritual home that enriches our liberal religious tradition.
