Hello bookworms!
We had an excellent discussion in May for our DRUUMM NonFiction Book Club Group (for DRUUMM members only)!
In it we discussed Part I: Quest of The Darker Nations: A People's History of the Third World by Vijay Prashad. Our discussion included a diverse set of perspectives which greatly enhanced our understanding of the May readings.
For June, we will be reading Part 2: Pitfalls which is pages 119 to 203 if you are using the Fifthteenth Anniversary Edition. I am sure many of you have already noticed that this is a much shorter read than last month, but it is nevertheless packed with new insights and understanding. The ebook and audiobook of this edition can be read for free through the app Hoopla, which can be accessed through most local libraries.
