"It’s taken years of hard work, care, and focused effort by dedicated volunteers on the Article II Study Commission to draft a proposal for a new Article II of the Unitarian Universalist Association bylaws, which state the faith’s Principles, Purposes, and Sources." - UU World Magazine

One of the central and most well known theological pillars of our faith are our Unitarian Universalist Statement of Principles. These Seven Principles, detailed in Article 2 of our UUA bylaws, are widely shared, discussed, and practiced. Over the last several years there has been a deep study and action process that will bring forward a major change.

We invite DRUUMM members to participate in our Spring Caucus. This is an opportunity to connect with Black, Indigenous, and People of Color in Unitarian Universalism. We will be engaging our DRUUMM members around the proposed revisions to our Unitarian Universalist faith's Principles, Purposes, and Sources. The caucus will feature a dialogue with Rev. Cheryl M. Walker and Satya Mamdani, two members of the national commission that has been working on this multiyear change process (called the "Article 2 Commission"), and racial/cultural caucuses for reflection and connection.

Member-leaders Lia Nagase and Angeline Jackson will be co-moderating. Join us for this sacred work that makes brave and safe space for the spirit and shapes our UU faith.

This is a Member-only, free event and will be held virtually via Zoom. Please contact us if you need to renew or update your membership login information.
