Please join us for a special joint gathering of DRUUMM and Mountain Top UU on Tuesday, September 19th from 6pm to 9pm. This transformative event, titled Getting Free Together will be a homecoming and a celebration of Love and Ancestors, and provide an opportunity for reflection on our rich history and a hopeful outlook towards the future. We warmly welcome UU Black Indigenous and People of Color (BIPOC) as well as BIPOC friends of our faith community, as your presence is vital in shaping and transforming our community. All are welcome!

During this gathering, we will create a vibrant mosaic of Unitarian Universalism by weaving together our diverse experiences and perspectives. It will be a space of unity where we strive to embody UU values and collaborate wherever possible. As we come together, we will embrace the wisdom of James Baldwin's words: "We don't get free unless we all get free." It is our shared responsibility as BIPOC individuals to support and uplift one another on our journey toward liberation.

Together, we will explore the intricacies of navigating the 21st century, emphasizing interdependence and cultivating symbiotic relationships. Join us for an evening of connection, growth, and celebration as we pay homage to our ancestors, embrace love, and envision a future that is inclusive and just. Your presence is essential to our collective transformation, and we eagerly anticipate the opportunity to learn, share, and grow together.
